BLUSLTD011: SEQUENCES – ETHOS EP
D. LEFT BEHIND
Support: Alix Perez, John B, Muffler, Kumarachi and many more...
RISKS: Straight dark business along the lines of Cause4Concern here. Synthesized neuro breathes through the atmosphere, while squelched out bass rumbles the sub bins. It's like a dance through the graveyard at midnight. Beautiful keys create a brief separation before the the drop comes again.
ETHOS: Classic drum 'n bass neurofunk. Rolling bass and chalky breaks bring back that late-nineties and early-second millenium techstep feel. For just a moment, we enter a beautiful space of melody to take a breath before Ethos drops once more.
ARCHITECT: Sweeping Arpeggios introduce the Architect before the breaks pulsate into this masterpiece... and then the bass drops – deep and power-dredging, Sequences shows his dominance with many layers of eclectic sounds – neuro bass and synthetic melodic forms. By the time the second round of arpeggios comes around, those in the vicinity will be under hypnosis.
LEFT BEHIND: Beautiful pads lead the journey through a blissful liquid bloom as luscious female vox lead down a hallway of pounding basslines and squelching neurofunk. Pianos lace the backdrop and fill the dancefloor. The break brings the bliss back before the bass comes ripping through one more time.
